http://www.thenewstribune.com/adventure/story/5592151p-5027681c.html

This lead story ran on March 16th, 2006, then the event happened!!!

http://www.cityofpuyallup.org/page.php?id=630

What a great day! Braving the weather, people of all ages joined in with the Puyallup Recreation Department for its first Geoteaming Adventure. After an introduction by Geoteaming's president, John Chen, teams were shown how to use the equipment to find the hidden "caches" around town. Everyone had an alloted amount of time to find the caches using preprogrammed coordinates before returning to the Memorial Center for prizes and a video wrap up.

Thanks to Matt Deeds who set this event up and Pauline and Kent for helping out during the day!

Welcome LAVA to our largest NY event ever!

Ready for 250 participants, 32 teams descended from the 27th floor of the Citigroup building into bustling Manhatten.  Leaving from a scenic waterfront photo with 3 major color shirts, The Lava Trading group began their exploration and team building event with over 40 caches in Manhatten.  Using a combination of cabs, subway and feet, teams made their way to historic location including the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street and others on this amazing course.

Congrats to Lava and thank you for joining our client family!

New article mention of PLAYTIME Inc.

http://www.meetingsnetwork.com/displayarticle.asp?id=3828

Hey, we got mentioned with a bunch of our friends (Tim Walther, we did a Journey style program with him on the Grand Tetons) and Carissa Zenorinni from SF!

Welcome Booz Allen Hamilton's IT team to our client family in the BRAND NEW National Mall course

Frank Burdette and his team from Booz Allen Hamilton joined the PLAYTIME Inc. client family as they experienced our brand new National Mall geoteaming course.

This course took 3 teams from challenging caches in the American History museum through a powerful cache located at the Vietnam memorial.

This course ended with a dramatic finish, where the margin for winning was only .1 Million (the top team scored $9.0M, 2nd scored $8.9M) and it was determined by the fact that a team had brought back an incorrect answer! The teams celebrated at Buffalo Billard's where a photo reception and prizes for all closed the day.

Here are some of the quotes from the day.
"I've lived here and saw things I've never seen at the National Mall!"
"What a powerful experience about team dynamics and getting multiple teams to collaborate"
"We had a great time!"

Thanks again to Frank, Rick and his team, welcome to the PLAYTIME Inc. family!

PLAYTIME Inc. Partners with Team Adventure to Deliver First geoteaming programs in Taiwan & China!!!

John Chen flew to the other side of the world to deliver 2 ground breaking program with a unique partnership with Team Adventure, based in Taiwan. CEO & Leader Ping-Huang Liao invited John to come to Taipei, Taiwan & Shanghai, China to deliver 2 geoteaming programs as well as introduce the concept to these new areas.

The (click for photos) Taipei event was held as Acer's Aspire Research Learning Park were 40 participants experienced geoteaming for the first time. Using creative out of the box problem solving and many using GPS for the very first time, these teams learned the value of competition, collaboration, sharing information, and team-to-team building.

The (click for photos) Shanghai event was held at the East Campus of Shanghai University. Using the University property, this event used the many nooks and crannies of Shanghai University for 24 people. With unique cache sites that even included a statue of Mao Tse-Tung, this challenging course required the teams to think out of the box while valuable lessons in team-to-team building came through while using the exciting GPS technology.

PLAYTIME Inc. is working with Team Adventure to become the first international licensee of geoteaming, bringing this powerful team building event to Asia! Thanks again to Ping, Dian, Arline and the entire staff of Team Adventure for making John's stay a fantastic event!
